Ingredients
12 ounces pork sausage 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 1/2 cups chopped celery (with leaves)
1 cup butter or margarine
9 cups soft bread cubes
2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Method
Brown sausage and set aside. Cook and stir onion and celery in butter in 10-inch skillet until onion is tender. Stir in about 1/3 of the bread cubes. Turn into deep bowl. Add cooked sausage, onions, celery and spices and mix with hands. Stuff turkey just before roasting.
