2 cup heavy whipping cream

1 lb. dark chocolate, cut into sm bits (can use milk chocolate chips)

1 shot Kirschwasser (cherry liquor)

4 bananas, peeled and cut 1"


Bring the cream to boil in a large sauce pan; then lower the heat to a simmer and add the chocolate. Stir well using a whip. When the chocolate is all melted, turn off the heat and add the Kirschwasser, while continuing to whip the fondue. Transfer to a fondue pot, and using fondue forks, dip the bananas and enjoy!

Keep some Kirschwasser on hand, for those who lose their bananas in the fondue pot must do a shot!
