Servings/Yield: about 5 dozen strawberries
3 small pkg. strawberry JELLO
1 can Eagle Brand milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 ½ cup coconut, ground fine (about an 8 oz. package of coconut)
1 ½ cup nuts, ground fine (use 7 1/2 oz. package almond slivers, reserve some for stems)
Pinch of salt
Green food coloring
Using mixer, mix JELLO, milk, salt and vanilla. Add coconut and nuts. Refrigerate overnight. Use green food coloring to color the almond slivers to be used as stems.
Form dough into strawberry shape. Roll lower part in red sugar, dip top in green sugar and insert stem.
