EARL'S FRENCH SILK PIE

Ingredients

2 ounces bitter chocolate

1 stick butter

¾ cup sugar

2 eggs

pie shell

½ to 3/4 pt. whipped cream

Method

Melt 2 oz. bitter chocolate over water and cool before using.  Set aside.

Cream 1 stick of butter at near room temperature.

Add 3/4 cup sugar to the butter and beat until fluffy.

Add 1 raw egg and beat with butter and sugar for 5 minutes. Set timer and beat at least 5 minutes.

Add another raw egg and beat for 5 minutes.  Set timer also.

Add melted chocolate to the filling and put in a baked pie shell.

Top with 1/2 to 3/4 pint whipped cream.
