MANDARIN ORANGE SALAD

Ingredients

Candied Almonds

Dressing

Salad 

4-6 Tbsp. sugar

⅔ cups sliced almonds

4 Tbsp. sugar

4 Tbsp. vinegar

½ cup oil

1 teaspoon salt

dash pepper

2-3 drops tobasco sauce

2 medium heads romaine, washed and torn

2 cups celery

4 green onions, chopped, tops and all

2 medium cans mandarin oranges, drained

Method

Candied Almonds

Brown the sugar.  Add sliced almonds. Separate when cooled.

Dressing

Mix all ingredients and save in a jar.
