Doka Estate coffee plantation

It's interesting to hear some of the things Costa Rica has in common with the U.S.--they have many Nicaraguans entering the country illegally, but needed to do jobs the Costa Ricans don't want to do (same as U.S. with Hispanics).  Picking coffee cherries by hand (beans are inside) pays $2 for a basketful that weighs 25 pounds.  The season is 5 months and kids are on vacation, so entire Nicaraguan families come and pick.
